Bio
Md Yeamim Hossain is a graduate of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, where he completed his B.Sc. in 2019. During his studies, he developed a strong interest in machine learning, data science, signal processing, biomedical signal analysis, deep learning. Through his undergraduate thesis, he gained experience working with biomedical signals (e.g. EEG, EMG, ECG) and machine learning techniques, which led to publications in IEEE conferences. He is now motivated to further his knowledge and experience in the field and build a career in machine learning and related areas.
Additionally, he honed his skills in different programming languages, machine learning frameworks, simulation softwares, networking tools, as well as design and developing softwares throughout his career. He also served as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, where he assisted faculty in conducting lab classes, preparing course materials, maintaining course-related documents (lab report, assignment, document scrutinization). Additionally, he also counseled students, and did the invigilation duties sometimes.
In his free time, he enjoys reading novels, watching movies, playing video games, and traveling. He also has a passion for research, building projects, coding, and designing, and actively participated in contests and projects during his university life. Above all, he values spending time with his family.
Research Interest: Machine Learning (ML), Bioinformatics, Federated Learning (FL), Convex Optimization, Signal Processing, Wireless Communication.
